The 10X42 Fusion 1600 ARC Black Bullseye Laser Rangefinder Binoculars meld Bushnell's top-of-the-line binocular optics with Angle Range Compensation (ARC) rangefinder technology--providing hunters with an efficient and powerful field tool. Packaged in the size and weight of standard 10x42-millimeter binoculars, the Fusion 1600 ARC delivers enhanced resolution and contrast with boosted light transmission thanks to its fully multi-coated optics and BaK-4 roof prisms with PC-3 phase corrective coatings. Meanwhile, the ARC Rangefinder displays the exact distance to your target from 10 to 1,600 yards at the push of a button. The rangefinder's built-in ARC Bow Mode delivers the shoots-like horizontal distance, while ARC Rifle Mode provides precise bullet-drop and holdover information. With Vivid Display Technology (VDT), readouts are enhanced in all lighting conditions, while RainGuard HD water repellent lens coating ensures that your view is never obscured by the elements. Finally, a fully waterproof and fogproof submersible design ensures reliability and clarity in all conditions. By Alaskanhunter
Purchased the Bushnell 1600 Arc as a one hunt use item in March of of 2010. The Gulf of Alaska tends to destroy everything with the rain, trail brush, drops in the dirt and rocks, salty humidity and the occasional drop in the salty coastal waters. Hunting the coastal bears is a yearly trip we have taken since 1985 so we have used many hunting accessories. I left the Bushnell range finders for the long range ocean hunting vessels next hunters to use assuming they would only last a few more additional hunting groups then be thrown out after being exposed to the hostel enviroment as is numerous other hunting accessories we bring yearly. Much to my surprise after a full year of bear and deer hunting with every type of hunters abuse that each different individual could subject it to. They were still in like new working order. When planning this years April hunt the Captain of the long range hunting vessel said that they were still working perfectly as the day I left them. So I took a few replacement batteries for him and we used them again. We were ranging bears at 1600 yards plus even though the rating was 1600 yards, we were impressed. I spoke to him on his satellite phone November 8, 2011 they were on the south side of Kodiak Island and his deer hunting groups were still using the Bushnell Range Finder. The optical quality was a little less than the more expensive binoculars at dusk in that they didn't capture as much light the last 15 to 20 minutes of the evening but for day use they worked as well as our high quality glasses. I am purchasing a pair for me and my son this Holiday Season.

By Robb1121
These binocs have a greenish tint to them. The optics are on the low end of the spectrum. The rangefinder works excellent but does not read when it is colder than 14° F. Hunting in MN this makes them unusable for 4-5 months of the year. The built in ARC and BOW modes work excellent. If Bushnell added better optics and a colder operating temp these would get 5 Stars. Until then mine got returned.

By subaru23rallyteam
I bought the fusion a couple years back when they first came out and complained from the very start. They are not good for hunting. They can not take the dust or debri one takes while hiking around, the lenses scratch very easily. Had them serviced twice and still can not range in the shade. Save your money and buy a pair form Zeiss, Leica or swarosvki.
